Camp Hosts - Sapelo Island

2020 - 2021

Our first gig on this adventure was so different from home I'm not sure we could have picked anything MORE different then a High Desert at 6,000 feet.  We landed on an Island that is only accessible by boat or aircraft. You can not be here unless you have permission or a permit issued by the state. Sapelo Island is a state-protected barrier island located in McIntosh County, Georgia. The island is accessible only by aircraft or boat; the primary ferry comes from the Sapelo Island Visitors Center in McIntosh County, Georgia, a seven-mile, twenty-minute trip. It is truly heaven on Earth.   Click on the photos to open the gallery and scroll through full sized photos.  Don't forget to read the blog for context and please consider purchasing prints as art or home decor. Ask for details!
